NIJStudentWeek2016: "The Pen and The Mic"

As students of Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba prepares for the 2016 students’ week, really it will be like one you never had before, as it is another means to showcase the correlation between THE PEN AND THE MIC , in the sense that the students are not only indulged only with story writing and other forms of journalism.

‘Like never Before’ happens to be the slogan that best fits for the Nigeria Institute of Journalism students’ week this year 2016, due to the fun-filled activities wrapped to be unleashed from May 9 to 14, the organizers wishes to incite students from various institutions in Lagos to join them for a carnival tagged ‘Show your Colour’, the carnival/concert day will feature hot and talented artiste currently making the music industry boil.

However, it will advised you shouldn’t miss any activities of the week, because if peradventure you will miss any other days like Tuesday, when Nigerian culture will envelope the sphere and will change the cloud of Ogba environs, I bet this year cultural day will be like one you never witness before, or on Wednesday which will birth the winner of Provost’s cup, don’t hesitate to miss Friday when another new Mr and Miss NIJ, together with Mr a.

Meanwhile there will be more fun at the ball and award night where students, where academic staffs (lecturers) and non-academic staffs will be honoured with unique awards to motivate and to encourage their commendable attitude and activities.
