President Muhammadu Buhari says he will be holding Nigeria’s oil portfolio in his new cabinet.
President
Buhari told Reuters that he intends to remain the Minister of Petroleum
Resources in an interview on the sidelines of the Annual Meeting of
World Leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The President adds that a Minister of State will oversee the day-to-day issues of the Petroleum Sector.
President
Buhari was head of the Petroleum Trust Fund under General Sani Abacha
in the 90s’ and Oil Minister in 1970 under President Olusegun Obasanjo
