Driver lies under his bus as VIA officials try to impound his car (photos)

This happened around the Muson Centre/TBS area of Lagos a few minutes ago. The bus driver was stopped for a traffic offense and as LASTMA and VIA officials tried to seize his bus, he went under it and refused to come out, causing traffic on the road. Don't blame him though. Fresh case of Ebola recorded in Liberia

Liberia has been hit with a fresh case of Ebola. According to the Liberian Deputy Health Minister, Tolbert Nyensuah, a 19 year old man died of the deadly virus. And they are saying it's possible he infected close friends or relatives before he died.

GEJ Reacts To President Buhari’s Inaugural Speech

Erstwhile President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the May 29 inaugural speech by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking all the way from Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, on May 30, 2015, Saturday, the ex-Ruler lauded President Buhari for pledging allegiance to all in his inaugural speech, adding that the president’s comportment thrilled him.

“Buhari said that he does not belong to any clique, and I congratulate him for that statement.
“It shows that we should all rally around him to work towards the development of the country and make Nigerians happy,” Jonathan said.

President Muhammadu Buhari has briefed attendees of the 25 African Union Summit on his administration’s efforts against Boko Haram.

Buhari gave the information on Sunday, June 14, 2015, as part of an address presented at the opening ceremony of the summit.

The President also credited his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan with avert a ensuring a smooth transition in power in Nigeria.

A girls hostel at the University of Uyo caught fire this afternoon. It started from a room and spread to two other rooms. Thankfully the fire was contained by man-o-war and fire service before it spread to more rooms.
